John Phillips (papa John) August 30, 1935 – March 18, 2001: American composer, singer and guitarist, was the leader of the M&P, although it had belonged to other bands, john got its fame in the Mamas and the Papas.
Cass Elliot (mama cass) September 19, 1941 – July 29, 1974: American singer, She was instrumental in the M&P, but after the finalization of the M&P she got a great fame as a soloist; She died at the age of 32 years because of a heart attack.
Denny Doherty (papa Denny) November 29, 1940 – January 19, 2007: was a singer and composer Canadian, the M&P was founded by denny, after the end of the band, he continued his solo career, without much fame, died at the age of 66 years because of kidney problems.
Michelle Phillips (mama Mich) June 4, 1944: she is the only survivor of M&P, composer singer and actress American, She was the wife of John Phillips, and with he formed part of M&P, in the following years he continued his solo career, after studied acting and that is devoted now.
