Second Report


For the presentation of the project, there will be a musical television show consisting of three presenters. It will have a big screen to the bottom where they will be showing pictures and plays songs related to the musical groups.
We will talk about music bands are very representative in the history of rock, especially the 60´s.
The program will be comical and very youthful.

Will be a fun show, we promise…

D: magic century, is a compilation of the best songs and the best musical groups
A: hello friends, today we have a great program full of much music, good music!
P:  in this moment, in our blog can find a brief overview of three bands that  made history in the music’s world
A: Three very important groups and we chose the most representative songs

Let us start our blog you will see a song called California Dreaming, the group, the Mamas and the Papas, this is a song written by John and Michelle Philip in 1963 and shown to the world in 1965,  we will see a short video of this song.
D: is very cool
D: wow this song is phenomenal, is a good representation of American folk on hippy age.
A: than good if we lived in California, no?
P y D: oh Alejo, dreams dreams dreams
P: another group very famous in our show is the doors, is a group of the 60's, and the song we chose was touch me, we will see a short video of this song.
A: touch me, Patri. Can't you see that i am not afraid?
P: oh no, you're crazy

THE TURTLES


The Turtles was a group rock psychedelic and folk rock American of the 60’s, of sound defined by a good character.
was formed in 1965 in Westchester by Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman. They start your success through a cover of Bob Dylan. "It Is not Me Babe" entered the Top Ten on the Billboard chart in the summer of 1965 and was the lead single from the band's first album, which bore the same name.

BAND MEMBERS


Howard Kaylan (22 June 1947) is an American rock and roll musician, best known as a founding member and lead singer of the 60’s band, The Turtles.

THE DOORS


"The doors" were a rock ban of the 60´s. "the doors" is formed when two students of the University of L.A of cinematography, James Douglas Morrison (voice) and Robbie Kringer (guitar) . Decided on the beach Venice creates a rock group.

The name “the doors” come from one of the texts of William Blake “When the doors of perception are cleansed, things will appear to man as they truly are...infinite."

Their concerts were quite a spectacle, the incredible music during the recitation of poetry and   psychedelic dance of Morrison similar to shamans.





BAND MEMBERS
James Douglas "Jim" Morrison (USA, December 8, 1943 - France, July 3, 1971): was a poet, singer and actor, famous because it was the lead singer of the influential psychedelic rock band The Doors; Jim Morrison died at age 27 old as other famous rockers such as Brian Jones, Kurt Cobain, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.




Raymond Daniel “Ray” Manzarek (USA, February 12, 1939): was who played keyboards in the band The Doors; the late 70's and early 80's, Ray Manzarek was a producer of The California punk band X.




Robert Alan “Robby” Krieger (USA, January 8, 1946): he acted as lead guitarist and wrote some of the most famous songs, like "Light My Fire ", "Love Me Two Times", "Touch Me" and "Love Her Madly",  Also in 2003 Rolling Stone put in the number 91 in the list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.






John Densmore (USA, December 1, 1944): was the drummer for the band, Co-produced the piece Rounds, which won the NAACP Theatre in 1987, In 2007 he released his solo debut under the name Tribaljazz.

In honor of the band rock in 1991 Oliver Stone  directed a movie about  this. The name the movie is "the door" as the name the group.

Touch Me, the first single from the album The Soft Parade, 1969, the fourth album by American band The Doors, launched in December 1968.

This song has ropes and metal music, along with a saxophone solo musician Curtis Amy.
